Verdaine is a medspa website design concept. The brief: what would a custom-coded site look like for a serious aesthetic-medicine practice, built static-first today and architected to drop into WordPress tomorrow without redesigning a single section?
The aesthetic-medicine category online is dominated by template sites that all collapse into the same shape: a stock-photo headshot of a smiling doctor in front of a Renuvion machine, a generic eight-service grid, a contact form that goes to a shared inbox, and a “memberships” page that reads like a gym contract. The brief was to reject all of that.
The design lead-out:
- A full-bleed atmospheric hero with editorial display type (Cormorant Garamond) instead of the usual smiling-stock-photography pose.
- An editorial “Position” band between hairline rules that functions as a written practice manifesto, ahead of any treatment list.
- A six-discipline card grid (Face, Body, Skin, Wellness, Recovery, Membership) with dark luxury photography and three-word category tags, instead of a flat 24-item service menu.
- A medical-director profile tile with a structured credentials grid (education, years in practice, boards) so a prospective patient can vet at a glance.
- An “Atelier” gallery, because the room is part of the product in this category.
- A three-column reserve section: telephone, online, and a full address with hours. Plain logistics, legible.
Performance and accessibility were treated as design constraints, not afterthoughts. The build ships with Lighthouse 97 performance and 100 accessibility out of the box, custom-coded HTML and CSS, zero JavaScript framework, and Google Fonts pulled with a preconnect.
The piece is built static for the concept host, but the section architecture maps cleanly onto MetaBox structured fields. A WordPress conversion would slot the hero, position band, disciplines grid, director profile, atelier gallery, and reserve section into the same CPTs and field groups already powering this site. No second redesign required.
This is the kind of medspa website I would ship for a real aesthetic-medicine practice. Built static-first so it lands a Lighthouse score the templated medspa-marketing platforms cannot match, and architected to convert to WordPress the day the practice wants editor-side control.
