A self-managed host of equivalent quality would cost about the same once you factor in the hours someone on your team spends on plugin updates that should never have been their job.

The migration is the hardest part. We handle it.

Most hosting changes get postponed for years because the migration sounds terrifying. The actual migration is two days: clone the site to the new host, run a battery of tests, set DNS TTL low, flip when you’re ready.   1. What hosting provider do you use?

    Cloudways managed hosting on top of DigitalOcean by default. We can use Vultr, AWS, or Linode if you prefer, same managed layer, different infrastructure underneath.

  2. What happens during the migration?

    Site clones to new host first and gets tested. DNS only flips after sign-off, with a low TTL set in advance to minimize propagation. Most migrations have under 5 minutes of "hold on, refresh" time.

  3. Is the hosting included in the monthly price?

    Yes. $129/mo includes both hosting and the full care plan, no separate hosting bill.

  4. Do you handle email too?

    No, email is its own animal. We typically recommend Google Workspace or Microsoft 365 (kept separate from web hosting on purpose).
