Stop renting your SEO from the IDX vendor.

The number-one mistake most brokerages make: their entire SEO strategy lives inside an IDX iframe owned by a third party. Google rewards original content on your own domain, not an embedded widget with 600 identical listings. Outerwave builds keep IDX as a tool, not the foundation, your listings, agents, and neighborhood content live on your domain, in your control, indexed under your URL.

That means real neighborhood pages (not boilerplate), real agent CPTs with consistent bios, and a property-inquiry workflow that doesn’t dump leads into your IDX vendor’s CRM.

Working as an individual agent or team? There is a dedicated page for realtor and agent websites.

Where most sites fail

What goes wrong in real estate & property sites, and how we fix it.

  1. Problem

IDX iframe is slower than the rest of the site combined, and the vendor owns your SEO

    What we build

First-party listings CPT with structured fields (beds, baths, lot, price) + optional MLS sync

  2. Problem

Neighborhood pages are templated junk with copied descriptions

    What we build

Neighborhood / area CPT with original content you actually own

  3. Problem

Agent bios live on the brokerage's template, formatted six different ways

  4. Problem

    Lead form goes nowhere actionable

    What we build

Lead routing tuned for buyer vs. seller intent

FAQ

Questions about real estate & property sites.

  1. Can you integrate IDX or MLS listings?

Yes. Either a first-party listings setup with optional MLS sync, or a partner IDX (RealScout, Showcase IDX) embedded carefully so the vendor does not end up owning your SEO.

  2. Why does my brokerage site not rank?

Usually because the listings live inside an iframe owned by the IDX vendor, so Google credits their domain instead of yours. First-party listing and neighborhood pages fix the ownership problem.

  3. Can each agent have their own page?

Yes. An agent profile system gives every agent a consistent bio page with their active listings, editable from the admin without touching code.

  4. Do you build for property management companies?

Yes. Same foundation, different modules: available-unit listings, application links, and maintenance-request forms that route to the right person.
